It all began when two girls, one very shy,
the other filled with confidence befriended each other on the first day of
junior kindergarten all because they shared the same name. It wasn’t long that they became best
friends and kept talking about each other to their mothers. One month after
the girls met, the mothers were introduced to each other on that fateful
school trip. It was on that day the mothers learned that they shared much more
than naming their first born daughter the same name, (actually, the more
they got to know each other, the more they had in common). And so the friendship began…… It only took the mother’s nine months since
the day they met, before they started discussing Dawn’s love of baking and
Tanya’s dream of owning her own business and by November 12, 2008 TaDa
Desserts Inc. was born. The company’s name was inspired by Dawn.
During one sleepless summer night, Dawn created the name “TaDa Desserts”. Now
everyone has heard the expression “tada”, but it is the symbolism of the word
more than it’s meaning that makes it the perfect name for the business. “Ta”
is for the first two letters of Tanya and “Da” is for the first two
letters of Dawn. When designing the company’s logo and
colours, both Tanya and Dawn agreed they had to use their daughters’
favourite colours, pink and purple, as a tribute to the girls who made their
mother’s wishes come true. TESTIMONIALS After being in business for just over a year,
